Tellmescotland, Scotland’s national public information notices portal, has been relaunched with a new look and improved functionality.
The portal provides the public with readily-accessible information on notices in their communities that have been published by councils and other organisations.
The new version improves the experience for the general public using the site as well as administrators within councils/other organisations who upload notices. It now allows responsive use on mobile devices and a more flexible search function, as well as a refreshed appearance. The site will continue to offer text/email notifications and map-based display of notices.
Tellmescotland has been running for 10 years, operated by the Improvement Service and supported by the Scottish Government. It is now used by 31 Scottish councils and 22 other public bodies to publicise planning, traffic, licensing and general notices. In 2016, it published 22,000 notices and visitor numbers and page views are currently growing at over 50% a year.
