Inverness Hogmanay Party: The Highland Council has announced details of the programme for the free five-hour Hogmanay Party that will end the first Inverness Winter Festival. Indie-Rock Band The Magic Numbers have been signed up to headline the show.

Council Meetings: The agenda and background papers are available for the Resources Committee on Wednesday 3 December and the Audit and Scrutiny Committee on Thursday 4 December.

Freedom of Nairn: Mr Ronnie Watson will be presented with the Freedom of Nairn at a special ceremony on Saturday (6 December) which will include a March Past by the Nairn and District Pipe Band.
