School openings for 2008-2009
All of Renfrewshire Council’s primary and secondary schools reopen to pupils on Tuesday 19 August with the exception of two schools (Johnstone High School and Castlehead High School) where major refurbishment works have been taking place.

Get information and advice at the WRVS centre on support schemes for those with a physical disability.
22 August 2008 - Information session for carers
Come to the WRVS Cafe for a special session about the support available for carers.
23 August 2008 - Erskine Golf club - junior coaching
This course is designed for young golfers, aged between 9 and 14, who don't normally have access to coaching facilities. It will provide them with basic skills to improve their game.

New customer service points across Renfrewshire
From September it will be easier to access council services locally when new customer service points are launched.

Renfrewshire Citizen's Account
The 'Citizen's Account' is a new proposal offering citizens and businesses a facility to access up-to-date account information online in a secure, convenient and accessible manner. The council are running a pilot project and would like the public to get involved.
Senior citizens' scheme
The council is pleased to continue to offer its very popular senior citizens' scheme again this year.
