Social Economy and Enterprise Database Scotland (SEEDS)
Dandelion seedsThe SEEDS database gives an overview of social economy and social enterprise organisations operating in Scotland, including many well-known charities. Organisations on the database are all ‘not-for-profit’ and are added to the database based on their income and trading levels.

SEEDS collects valuable information for research and policy purposes, and allows

  • voluntary organisations to advertise their services
  • procurement officers and the general public to search for local service providers

The database holds information on over 1,000 voluntary organisations, with new records being added regularly by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) which administers SEEDS on behalf of its partners.
