About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen based within East Lothian Council for an Improvement Officer to deliver improved service and achieve financial savings following a review of the Facilities Management Service.
The Improvement Officer will be responsible for working with staff and management across the Council to deliver a set of recommendations resulting from a review of the Facilities Management Caretaking, Janitorial and Cleaning Service. This will involve working with closely with the Service and stakeholders to agree business needs, defining specifications and analysing data sets to confirm benefits, risks and costs.
The successful candidate must have experience of delivering service improvements in complex organisations including data analysis, benefits realisation and stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate would be joining the Council’s Transformation Programme team and working closely with a wide range of Council services.
The IS also invites applications from candidates who wish to be considered for the post on a secondment basis.
