Angus Council has signed up to parentsportal.scot bringing the total number of local authorities using the platform to 20.

The service went live in Angus primary schools on 30 September and in secondary schools on 11 November, helping to create a digital relationship between parents, pupils, and schools in the area.

Parents and carers can sign in to parentsportal.scot via mygovscot myaccount, the easy way to access Scottish public services online, enabling them to view information about their child’s education and carry out functions such as paying for school meals or applying for free bus travel.

parentsportal.scot was developed jointly by the Improvement Service and SEEMiS, the education information management provider to create a secure online account that links each parent/carer to their child and education.
