The Improvement Service Public Service Reform team has been working as part of a multi-agency team from Glasgow City Council and their partners on the Child Poverty Pathfinder since early 2022. The Pathfinder is a collaborative initiative launched by Glasgow City Council in partnership with the Scottish Government and other key city partners. By undertaking a series of actions informed by data, insights and experience across city partners, this programme aims to significantly reduce child poverty in Glasgow by delivering on ambitious public service reform.

Discover how the Glasgow Community Planning Partnership (GCPP), in collaboration with the Improvement Service (IS), developed a robust Performance Management Framework (PMF) to track progress towards the goals outlined in their Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP). This case study highlights the agile approach adopted by the IS team to create a framework that integrates both quantitative and qualitative measures. Through a series of intensive sprints and co-design workshops, GCPP partners worked together to build a comprehensive PMF that captures the impact of their efforts to reduce poverty and inequalities in Glasgow's communities.
