Simple terms explainer
Councils and health boards must work together to create and share a plan for how they will support carers in their area. This includes talking to carers and organisations that represent them, making sure the plan covers both adult and young carers, and setting out what support is available. The plan must be reviewed regularly and updated to reflect what’s working and what still needs to improve.
