Simple terms explainer:
Councils and Community Wealth Building partners must keep action plans under review, monitor progress against indicators, and assess delivery of the measures it contains. At the end of each five-year reporting period, they must prepare a progress report detailing actions taken, progress achieved, procurement expenditure awarded to local economic operators, and steps taken to review the plan. Councils must publish these reports to demonstrate progress and support accountability.
