National Co-ordinator – Local Child Poverty Action Reports

Salary: £44,173 - £49,463

Duration of contract: Fixed term 4 years (March 2022)

An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Improvement Service for a National Co-ordinator who will have a particular focus on the planning and reporting duties under the Child Poverty (Scotland) Act.

The co-ordinator will be based in the Improvement Service, Livingston, but will work closely with the Scottish Government, NHS Health Scotland and other stakeholders such as the Poverty Alliance to support local partners to develop their reports and think about how to monitor progress.

Scottish Street Gazetteer Custodian

Salary: £38,477 - £43,186

Duration of contract: 24 months

The Improvement Service is now including the operational management of a Scottish street gazetteer into the portfolio of products and services provided by the Spatial Information Service. The principal function of this new post will be to improve the linkages between the street and address gazetteers, thus improving the quality of addressing and supporting the emergency services' use of gazetteers.
