Join Irene Beautyman from the Improvement Service for the fifth instalment in our FREE Masterclass webinar series for anyone wanting to better understand how to take a place-based approach.
This Masterclass webinar will focus on:
- The common misunderstandings about place-based working and reflections on how to do a place-based approach well.
- Real-world examples of place-based work in action:
- Andrew Whittet from Clyde Gateway will share how they are using a collaborative, data-driven approach to address child poverty in Glasgow.
- Angela Keith from Aberdeenshire Council will reflect on the organisational journey undertaken to develop a corporate Place Strategy and Policy, and the mechanisms being adopted to embed and implement that strategy across the organisation, reflecting on the importance of partnership working, community participation and lessons learned.
There will be an opportunity to submit questions after the 30-minute presentation.

The previous four Masterclasses have been recorded and are available to watch on the Improvement Service website.
