Dundee City Council used a social return on investment approach to measuring the impact of improving access to welfare rights advice.

Earlier this year the Improvement Service published two reports that used a Social Return on Investment approach. One focussed on measuring the benefits of offering access to welfare rights and money advice services in a secondary school and the other in GP Practices. Both reports identified the key stakeholders and how they benefited and also calculated the rate of return on investment.

This webinar will briefly review both of these analyses, which provide examples of community-based advice provision. The context for this and how these reports have subsequently been used by the Council will be outlined by Craig Mason, Senior Manager (Council Advice Services).

You’ll have the opportunity to put your questions to both Craig and the authors of the reports.
