The Improvement Service, SafeLives and Resilience Learning Partnership launched a new website to help embed lived experience in the design of Scottish public services.

Authenticvoice.scot aims to help ensure stakeholders have the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to embed lived experience of gender-based violence and other forms of complex trauma into local system and service design processes in a trauma-informed and meaningful way.

The website includes:

  • learning from the initial discovery exercise which looked at how survivor voice and lived experience is currently used in organisations across Scotland
  • videos and key messages from the virtual launch event in March 2022
  • learning and videos from the series of deep dive workshops that took place in 2022
  • episodes of the new Authentic Voice podcast, produced by Resilience Learning Partnership
  • the opportunity to sign up to the Authentic Voice newsletter.
