We’re delighted to welcome the SAVVI team to the Improvement Service, strengthening our commitment to data-enabled public service transformation.
Helen Canning (Information Governance Lead), Fi Caryl (Technical Data Lead), and Celeste Berteau (Transformation Coach) have now taken up post, bringing a wealth of expertise to support councils and their partners in identifying and assisting vulnerable individuals more effectively.
To kickstart the next phase of collaboration, we're holding a partnership development session online on 20 November, inviting local government colleagues to explore involvement in the upcoming SAVVI pilot. This session will initiate discussions around partnership roles, data-sharing opportunities, and practical implementation.
Importantly, the SAVVI programme will continue to support work with local and national partners around child poverty, helping councils use data more strategically to target support and improve outcomes for children and families.
We look forward to working with local authorities across Scotland to build on this momentum and deliver meaningful change.
