The Improvement Service's Planning for Place and Child Poverty teams are working with local leaders to explore how planning decisions can help to reduce child poverty.

This cross-sector collaboration is shaping a new briefing that explains the role of planning in reducing child poverty and improving outcomes for children and families. This work is drawing interest from Heads of Planning Scotland (HOPS), who are keen to demonstrate how planning can contribute to Scotland's mission to tackle child poverty.
