Local Child Poverty Action Reports
Under the Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017, local authorities and health boards in Scotland must jointly publish annual Local Child Poverty Action Reports (LCPARs) highlighting what they have done - and what they plan to do in the coming financial year - to contribute to the national 2030 child poverty reduction targets.
This year, we are pleased to announce that all 32 local authority and health board action reports have been published. You can access the reports on our website.
The National Partners (Improvement Service, Public Health Scotland, Poverty Alliance and Scottish Government) have completed their annual review of each report and are wrapping up local feedback meetings with each area. The IS are currently developing the annual report which seeks to analyse trends and draw out examples of practice across each local authority area.
You can catch up on last year's analysis of Year 6 LCPARs.
