Making creativity and innovation happen
Creativity and innovation address ways of doing things better and differently. This course focuses both on individual creativity – where it comes from and how it can be developed – as well as creativity and the related concept of innovation at an organisational level. It considers how organisations can more effectively tackle the challenges posed by creativity and innovation in order to be more successful.

Using data to aid organisational change
This course explores how to use data to inform change within your organisational context. It looks at the type of evidence you can gather to inform your proposed change, and how to evaluate data with a view to using it as part of this transformation. Specifically, you will learn about internal and external sources of secondary information and how to evaluate them. You will also examine how to negotiate access to different types of information in a work context. Finally, you will obtain hands-on experience in collecting and using secondary sources of information in the context of researching and making this organisational change.

Managing virtual project teams
Many projects are now ‘virtual’ with some or all of the team are located remotely. This course looks at knowledge and techniques which underpin team selection and considers the additional expertise needed to manage teams in a virtual environment.

Systems thinking and practice
This course introduces systems thinking and practice. It covers the key concepts used in systems theory and describes the challenges in defining a system and how systems thinking can be used to analyse, understand and improve situations.
