Trauma can affect people at any stage of life, although we may not always know what someone has experienced. Its impact is different for everyone. A trauma-informed approach helps us recognise where trauma may be influencing the people we work with and be able to respond and adapt what we do accordingly. This session will help colleagues in the Local Government Connect Network understand what trauma-informed practice means in day-to-day work, and how leadership, management style and organisational culture can create safe and supportive environments and enhance the quality of services we deliver.
All members of the network are welcome to join the events, contact Amanda Spark if you would like a Teams invite or for more information.
