The Health Foundation Blog: Shaping Places for Wellbeing in Scotland
How is the Shaping Places for Wellbeing Programme putting wellbeing at the heart of decision making? How do we inform and support place-based decisions about proposals and plans in local areas? What has been our learning so far?
Written by our Programme Lead, Irene Beautyman, find out how our Programme informs and supports place-based decisions about proposals and plans in local areas, to put wellbeing at the heart of decision making in this new blog for the Health Foundation.
Testimonials
What has been the impact of our Programme on the work of our partners and Steering Group members? We have put together a new Testimonials page which highlights how our Programme is helping to support place-based work in our Project Towns, from Place and Wellbeing Assessments to Programme Data.
Sharing our findings
As we enter the final stages of Phase 1 of the Programme, we’ve been adding even more information to the Improvement Service website.
We’re continually adding our data journey onto our Local Project Action webpages and sharing our findings within each Project Town through:-
- Quantitative data profile
- Quantitative data infographic, highlighting key areas of inequality
- Community Link Lead report
Our Alloa Community Link Lead spent 2023 gathering insight from community organisations, groups and practitioners working with Alloa communities, to develop our understanding of inequality, place and wellbeing in Alloa, with the findings turned into a report.
Read our Alloa Community Link Lead Report ‘What we’re hearing in our communities’ here.
