The Shaping Places for Wellbeing Programme aims to improve Scotland’s wellbeing and reduce inequalities through changing our collective approaches to the places where we live, work and play. So with this in mind, what have we achieved so far? What impact are we having within each of our Project Towns?
Our Impact Stories below, detail the progress in our seven Project Towns, and how we hope to see future work develop.
From adding place-based opportunities into the ongoing project development of the Wellbeing Hub and Lochies School Development in Alloa, to supporting Community Engagement Team Officers to test their own Assessment sessions with their Community Plan in Rutherglen. We detail the work we have undertaken to implement our approach to place-based working, including how we have embedded our Place and Wellbeing Outcomes to strengthen links between stakeholders, improve places and target work to reduce inequalities.
