The event brought together key stakeholders from across all 32 LEPs, with representation from local government, the third sector, Scottish Government, Skills Development Scotland, Department for Work and Pensions, further and higher education, health and business. The aims of the day included sharing good practice, seeking support for local challenges, and gathering inspiration for future delivery.
With a workshop on strengthening partnership working and thematic discussions that included measuring success and best value, better employer engagement, and the benefits of service user input, the event focused on the topics that really matter to help further strengthen the employability system.
