Access to Expertise Programme
The Access to Expertise programme works closely with planning authorities to help them obtain the skills and expertise that they need to work effectively and efficiently.
It aims to:
- identify what specialist skills and expertise planning authorities have and what they require to meet their priorities
- identify sources of appropriate expertise that can be deployed to support planning authorities
- provides funding to planning authorities to allow them to use this expertise
- identify any specialist expertise within planning authorities that could be shared with others and support this to happen.
