Since May 2024, the Improvement Service have provided dedicated officer support to the Scottish Community Planning Network (SCPN). The SCPN exists to build relationships and identify opportunities to support Community Planning Partnership (CPP) colleagues across Scotland by developing best practice examples and sharing learning.
The work of the SCPN includes hosting network events throughout the year, both in person and online, development of relevant resources and online spaces for collaboration via MS Teams and Knowledge Hub. A weekly SCPN bulletin also keeps colleagues up to date with relevant news and opportunities in the Community Planning space.
A small group of SCPN members come together 6-weekly to form the SCPN Planning Group, which supports the development of SCPN events and resources- ensuring that the SCPN is a member-led network.
