As a result of the work that took place in our Rutherglen Project Town we worked in partnership with Clyde Gateway from July 2024 until December 2024 through their Supporting Families: Access to Childcare Programme in the following towns:
- Cambuslang
- Rigside
- Larkhall
We have also supported the work of the Supporting Families Programme within the Calton Ward in Glasgow, particularly in considering the impact of the Programme on the Place and Wellbeing Outcomes in the area.
The extension of the Programme approach into these towns has allowed the learning in Rutherglen to support other organisations to take a place-based approach to tackling inequalities locally. This has included further embedment of the Place and Wellbeing Outcomes through training, providing new local data to inform decision-making and further opportunities to deliver Place and Wellbeing Assessments on plans and strategies in these areas.
For each of these towns the following supporting documents have been produced:
Cambuslang
- Data Profile
- Place and Wellbeing Outcomes Report
Rigside
- Data Profile
- Place and Wellbeing Outcomes Report
Larkhall
- Data Profile
- Place and Wellbeing Outcomes Report
